The Gnaoua and World Music Festival takes place annually in Essaouira. This year marks its 27th edition.
The festival offers unique musical performances showcasing Gnaoua, world music, and global musical heritage. Numerous Gnaoua masters and international artists participate.
Throughout its duration, the festival attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors. The three-day festival receives extensive media coverage both nationally and internationally.
